Bridal Ubtan [Prabhjot DIY Box]

This DIY Ubtan uses a blend of powerful ingredients like Beetroot Powder, Sandalwood Powder, Orange Peel Powder, Rose Petal Powder, and more to brighten, rejuvenate, and nourish the skin. 

Ingredients: 

  • Beetroot Powder: 0.25 tablespoon 
  • Sandalwood Powder: 0.25 tablespoon 
  • Orange Peel Powder: 0.25 tablespoon 
  • Rose Petal Powder: 0.25 tablespoon 
  • Kasturi Manjal (Wild Turmeric): 0.25 tablespoon 
  • Multani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth): 0.25 tablespoon 
  • Neem Powder: 0.25 tablespoon 
  • Curd (Yogurt): 1 tablespoon 
  • Water: Enough to make a thick paste 

Instructions: 

  1. Prepare the Dry Mix: 
  • In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients: 0.25 tablespoon each of Beetroot Powder, Sandalwood Powder, Orange Peel Powder, Rose Petal Powder, Kasturi Manjal, Multani Mitti, and Neem Powder. 
  • Mix them thoroughly to ensure a uniform blend of all powders. 
  1. Create the Ubtan Paste: 
  • Take 1 tablespoon of the dry mixture and add 1 tablespoon of Curd (Yogurt). 
  • Gradually add water to the mix, stirring continuously until you achieve a thick paste. 
  1. Application: 
  • Cleanse your face and body with warm water. 
  • Apply the Ubtan paste evenly on your face and body, gently massaging in circular motions to exfoliate. 
  • Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, allowing it to dry slightly but not completely. 
  1. Rinse Off: 
  • Gently rinse off the Ubtan with lukewarm water, scrubbing lightly in circular motions to remove dead skin cells and impurities. 
  • Pat your skin dry with a soft towel and follow with a moisturizing lotion or oil.

How to Use: 

  • Use this Ubtan 2-3 times a week, starting 1-1.5 months before the wedding, to achieve a luminous, bridal glow. Pair it with a light, hydrating moisturizer for the best results. 

Storage: 

  • You can mix and store the dry part of this Ubtan in an airtight container for up to 6-8 months. Just add curd and water to the dry mix as needed for each use.
