Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
What is the quantity of carbomer used in your gels, like how much in cucumber gel ,papaya gel and aloevera. And which carbomer do you people use.? And why does all of your gels have a fragrance when gels don't have fragrance after distillation.
Will answer you question in parts.
1. All our gels have 0.1% carbomer, which is a standard practice to make any distilate into a gel form. Brands which use apparently natural alternates, like xanthan based ones, also have part carbomer, which is same as our percentage. We are under process of removing this also from our gels, but the research is taking longer than expected.
2. A distillate is when we are the plant/flower or any other part of it, with water. Now as per experience, you would also know that all such mixtures will leave a fragrance of the base plant. You can also see this in our natural hydrosols available. And then, when we add the carbomer and make a gel, the lingering fragrance of the base plant remains.
Hope this explanation helps you make a better decision. -
