What You'll Need

Step-by-Step

  1. In a non-metal bowl, combine 1 tbsp Manjistha Powder, 1 tbsp Multani Mitti, and 1 tsp Rose Petal Powder. Mix the dry powders thoroughly with a wooden spoon.
  2. Slowly add 2 tbsp rose water, stirring continuously, until you have a smooth spreadable paste with the consistency of thick yogurt.
  3. Stir in 1 tsp raw honey. The pack will be a deep dusty pink — that's the manjistha working.
  4. Apply evenly on cleansed face and neck using fingertips, in upward strokes. Avoid eye area.
  5. Leave for 20 minutes. The pack will dry partially — mist with rose water if it dries too fast.
  6. Rinse with lukewarm water, massaging gently. Pat dry.
  7. Follow with toner and a hydrating moisturizer. Apply SPF the next day.
  8. Frequency: Use 2-3 times a week. Manjistha works gradually — visible results in 6-8 weeks of consistent use.
  9. Storage: Premix dry powders in a glass jar for up to 2 months. Mix with wet ingredients fresh each time.
  10. Pantry note: Manjistha Powder is currently a pantry-list item until added to your Tattvalogy product references.

Pro Tips

Manjistha may temporarily tint skin reddish-pink — it fades in 10 minutes. Use twice a week, night time. Patch test first.
